Description of the positions:

Fashion Design Team Coordinator

The Fashion Design Team Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the Fashion Designer Progress Spreadsheet, ensuring it is consistently updated with the latest information. They will stay informed about relevant festivals, workshops, and events that designers can participate in, while also organising educational trips and workshops for the design team, such as visits to exhibitions and other industry events. Additionally, they will arrange and lead monthly meetings with the fashion designers to track their progress, providing detailed reports on the team’s overall development and achievements.


Requirements

  • Proficiency in managing and updating progress tracking spreadsheets.

  • At least 3 years experience working in the fashion sector 

  • Knowledge of fashion industry events and trends. 

  • Strong organizational skills for planning educational trips and workshops.

  • Ability to coordinate and lead monthly team meetings.

  • Excellent communication skills

Video Editor

The Video Content Creator is responsible for producing engaging video content across various social media platforms, including shorts, stories, reels, and more, ensuring alignment with the brand’s voice and messaging. 

 

They will develop new video formats to raise awareness of FHNC projects and Cypriot fashion heritage. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including fashion, research, design, and editorial teams, as well as working directly with designers to prepare clear and actionable briefs. Additionally, the Video Content Creator will manage the scheduling and publishing of content on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube, while remaining available and responsive on Discord for internal team communication.

 

Requirements

  • Proven experience in creating and managing video content for social media.

  • Proficiency with Canva and Figma; experience with any video editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or After Effects is a plus but not necessary.

Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer will create engaging digital and social media content, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines. They will collaborate with the team to design assets for various platforms, including websites, social media, and marketing materials. Ability to work as a team is essential since we are a very close knit team and provide each other feedback as we design

Requirements

  • A strong understanding of graphic design fundamentals, including colour theory, typography, and layout grids, is essential. 

  • The candidate should have a solid working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, with experience in or willingness to learn Figma. 

  • Knowledge of social media and digital design is required. Exhibition/event design, video editing, editorial design and motion is desirable but not necessary.

Heritage Advisor

Heritage Advisors are responsible for training and advising the Fashion Designers and Artists on incorporating cultural elements into their designs through presentations and online meetings. Additional responsibilities include collaborative research and research support, working closely with other teams on their tailored initiatives. Advisors will be responsible for cultural integration and team communication on cultural preservation and enhancement within the network.

Requirements

  • Candidates should have an educational background in Cypriot cultural heritage studies or a strong interest in the field. 

  • A passion for integrating fashion with cultural preservation is essential, along with excellent communication and research skills. 

  • The ideal candidate will also have a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team.
