The Fashion Heritage Network Cyprus (FHNC) is an award-winning, youth-led, bicommunal initiative founded in July 2022 to preserve and revitalise Cypriot fashion heritage through sustainable, zero-waste fashion, creativity and cultural collaboration.

FHNC acts as an accelerator for emerging fashion designers on the island, helping them build sustainable fashion brands through mentorship from established fashion professionals, practical workshops, and educational visits to traditional craft villages and museums. Our mission is to empower young designers to develop their businesses, remain in Cyprus and contribute to the local economy while safeguarding the island’s cultural heritage.

Beyond fashion, FHNC offers young Cypriots practical career development opportunities through its diverse departments, including sustainability, heritage, fashion design, events, marketing and social media. With a network of 40 members and volunteers spanning Europe, Australia and beyond, we connect young people across the global Cypriot diaspora, foster collaboration between communities, and equip the next generation with the skills, experience and connections to create a more sustainable and culturally connected future.
